Where do I send my horseshoe / horsehair ? Once you have placed your order, please send it to: Cherished Horseshoes Clarendon Barrack Lane Great Waltham Chelmsford Essex CM3 1ER Please ensure nails are removed from horseshoes to make them safe to post. Please ensure your order number and name is included so we know it is yours. Unfortunately we cannot be held responsible if your items are lost in the post and are not received. Whilst this has thankfully never happened, we would recommended that you send your items tracked.
Do I need to clean my horseshoe or horsehair before I send it to you? There is no need to clean either before sending them to us. We do all the hard work for you!
How will I know when you have received my horseshoe / horsehair ? We will send you a confirmation email as soon as we receive your treasured items so you know they are safely with us.
How long does it take to receive my order? For our framed horseshoe & horsehair keepsakes, please allow 7-10 days from when we receive your items to them being ready to be posted back to you. For our wedding keepsakes please allow 7-10 days from your order. If you need your keepsake sooner, please get in contact with us and we will let you know what we can do to achieve this for you.
How do you post my keepsakes back to me? We use Royal Mail's tracked 24 or 48 service for all our postage. Royal Mail will let you know when your parcel is due to be delivered and how to make alternative arrangements if you won't be in.
How do I care for my keepsake? All horseshoes will naturally tarnish over time, regardless of the protective measures we take. However, we do everything we can to slow the process and keep your keepsake looking beautiful for as long as possible. To help maintain its appearance, we recommend keeping it indoors, away from moisture and handing it with care.
Do you take custom orders? Yes! If you are after something a little bit different to what we have in our collection, please get in contact with us to discuss!
Do you ship internationally? Currently we do not offer international shipping via our website. If you are outside of the UK please get in contact with us to discuss shipping options.
Can I return or exchange my order? At Cherished Horseshoes, we take great pride in the quality of our products. As all items are custom-made, we do not accept returns or exchanges. However, if you experience any issues with your order, please do not hesitate to contact us. We are committed to ensuring your satisfaction and will do our best to resolve any concerns.
